Poem #92

Dialogue from Rest…

This spinner’s wheel onfleeing / Outside perception’s range.

from ‘According to the Mighty Working’, by Thomas Hardy

One weaver’s reed unbareth beneath embedding flakes,
o wherefore, hell or happy hereafter, wishes these of consoling congregates?
Each spatter of soil settles against this well dressed sleeper,
this remnant of relished results, retaliates from rest:
“Strive between us to be the very best.”
