Poem #74

Why fight?

for my friends at Ball Memorial

On the corner of college and life,
between, husband, wife,

between street, country, ward and home,
wherever orphans of Diana roam,

in the adamant of verdant plain,
in the adulteration of aqua crane,
may we find a friend, may we find a friend,

may we come to comprehend
compassion, before sun’s end.
