Poem #46

To Clio

for Daron Olson

So great son of Olaf,
orator on old occurrence,
replied, “Records rhyme,”
endeared the endeavor to emigrate,
define our dominant domain,
note, narrate our nest,
our travels, our turmoils, our time,
over the oar, onto the opponent,
our own ocean of Odyssey.
